The Central University of Odisha is seeking applications for the role of Research Personnel in an ICSSR-funded project. The project aims to explore the livelihood dynamics, cultural heritage, and sustainability of GI-Tagged products among Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in India. This research is crucial for understanding and preserving the cultural and economic aspects of these communities.

Eligibility

For the Research Assistant position, candidates must have a postgraduate degree in Social Science, Management, Commerce, or a related discipline with at least 55% marks. Desirable qualifications include NET/M.Phil. /Ph.D., proficiency in software like Excel/SPSS/STATA, and experience in research projects. For the Field Investigator role, a postgraduate degree in the same fields with similar marks is required, along with fieldwork experience and Excel proficiency.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Research Assistant: Rs. 37,000 per month
• Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000 per month
