The Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) Bhopal is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. This opportunity is part of a prestigious ARGANRF-sponsored project under the guidance of Prof. Pritam Nasipuri. The project focuses on understanding the transition from stagnant lid tectonics to modern-day plate tectonics, using constraints from interleaved Eoarchean Gneisses and Charnockites in the west Bastar Craton.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a master’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or Applied Geology. A bachelor’s degree in Geology, with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, is also required. Applicants without these qualifications will not be considered.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹37,000 for JRF plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable
