Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research SAMEER- CEM, Chennai is looking for the following contract positions on consolidated salary for its Chennai centre. The tenure will be for two years or end of the project whichever is earlier.

Eligibility
Project Assistant – C ( Electrical Engineering) Essential Qualification Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 55 % marks or equivalent grade and 6 years of experience Desirable field of Experience Work Experience in the field of HT and LT services, DG set operation & maintenance, Sub-station Maintenance, LT and HT Wiring and Regular Electrical Utility maintenance of the Campus.
Project Assistant – (Civil Engineering) Essential Qualification Diploma in Civil Engineering – fresher/experienced with minimum 55 % marks or equivalent grade Desirable field of Experience Experience in supervision of all types of civil construction works, preparation of estimates for all types of civil works, preparation of civil drawings, taking of measurements etc., plan & execution of minor civil works and routine civil maintenance of campus
Project Technician-C (ITI- R & A/C) Essential Qualification ITI Trade in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning with minimum 55 % marks or equivalent grade and 6 years of experience Desirable areas of experience Work Experience in the field Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Regular Maintenance of all types of AC, servicing, installation and Repair. Identification, procurement and stocking of spares.
Project Technician – (ITI Plumbing)
Essential Qualification ITI Trade in Plumbing – fresher/experienced
with minimum 55 % marks or equivalent grade
Desirable areas of experience Experience in all types of plumbing works such as
- cutting, threading and assembling of water lines
- laying new pipe lines composed of GI, UPVC and PVC material.
- repairing open / concealed / underground lines of campus
- maintenance of waterline in kitchen, garden, rest rooms
- repairing plumbing fixtures like sinks, closets, sprinkler system
- motor operations, pump maintenance, RO units operations etc.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Project Assistant – C ( Electrical Engineering) Rs. 27,000/- to Rs. 34,800/- (consolidated salary) depending on Experience. No other allowances.
- Project Assistant – (Civil Engineering) Rs. 17,000/- to Rs. 34,800/- (consolidated salary) depending on Experience. No other allowances.
- Project Technician-C (ITI- R & A/C) Rs.23,600/- to Rs. 29,600/- (consolidated salary) depending on Experience. No other allowances.
- Project Technician – (ITI Plumbing) Rs.15,100/- to Rs. 29,600/- (consolidated salary) depending on Experience. No other allowances.
