Description

The project titled “Synthesis of Bio Based Zwitterionic Surfactant for use in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) at High Reservoir Temperature Conditions” aims to develop innovative solutions for oil recovery processes. The selected JRF will be involved in synthesizing bio-based zwitterionic surfactants from natural resources and studying their applications in EOR, particularly at high temperatures. This research is crucial for advancing sustainable practices in the petroleum industry.

Position

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.E./MTech in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an M.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA. Additionally, candidates should be GATE/NET qualified. Experience or knowledge in relevant fields is desirable. The upper age limit is 28 years, with relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/Female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- + Applicable HRA per month for the first two years, extendable to Rs. 42,000/- + Applicable HRA per month based on satisfactory performance.
