Description
The National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a project titled “Process development for the production of value-added, low-alcoholic Kodo Ko Jannr-A Traditional millet-based fermented functional food of Northeast India.” This project is sponsored by the Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology, and aims to explore innovative methods in food biotechnology.

Eligibility
Candidates must have a First Class in B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/MTech. in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering or an M.Sc. in a relevant field with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA in UG & PG. Additionally, candidates should have qualified GATE or any national level eligibility examination such as DBT, ICMR, ICAR, etc. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, a 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 is required. Final semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their degree certificate and proof of eligibility at the time of joining.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹ 37,000/- per month for first 2 years and ₹ 42,000/- per month for 3rd year. House Rent Allowance (HRA, 10%) as per Institute rules.
