Description

IIT Mandi is conducting a walk-in-selection process for hiring part-time coaches, gym instructors, fitness trainers, and yoga instructors. These roles are temporary and will be compensated with an honorarium ranging from ₹28,000 to ₹30,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The selected candidates will work in the sports complex of IIT Mandi, contributing to the physical education and wellness programs of the institute.

Position

• Part-Time Sports Coaches (Athletics, Aquatics/Swimming, Basketball, Football, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Squash)
• Yoga Instructor
• Gym Instructor & Fitness Trainer

Eligibility

• Part-Time Sports Coaches (Athletics, Aquatics/Swimming, Basketball, Football, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Squash):  bachelor’s or master’s degree in physical education OR Certificate Course in Coaching from a recognised institution OR NIS Diploma in the relevant sport Representation at State / University / National level preferred.
• Yoga Instructor: Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in yoga. or any higher qualification from a recognised institution, or Diploma in Yoga from a recognised institution with at least three years of relevant experience in yoga. Knowledge of traditional yoga practices, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques.
• Gym Instructor & Fitness Trainer: bachelor’s or master’s Degree in any discipline or Diploma / Certificate in Fitness Training / Gym Training from a recognised institute. Certified Gym Trainer (from recognised bodies such as K11, Gold’s Gym, NSCA, ACSM, etc.). A minimum of 3 years of work experience is required. Knowledge of strength training, cardio training, and functional fitness.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• ₹28,000 to ₹30,000 per month based on experience and qualifications

Applicants must bring a formal application in the prescribed format, a detailed biodata, original and self-attested photocopies of certificates, and a recent passport-size photograph. The reporting time is 09:30 AM, and latecomers will not be entertained.
