The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is inviting applications for 11 positions in its Undergraduate Programme. These positions include roles for Instructors and Project Scientist I, aimed at enhancing the educational and research capabilities of the institute. The selected candidates will be involved in teaching, mentoring, and conducting research, contributing significantly to the academic environment at IISc.

Eligibility

 Ph.D. in Physical Sciences with two years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Ph.D. in any one of the disciplines: Sociology, political science, history, or economics with two years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Ph.D. in mathematics with two years of post-Ph.D. experience

Ph.D. or master’s degree in electrical, Electronics Engineering or allied disciplines. 

 Ph.D. or master’s degree in engineering/technology in Computer Science

Ph.D. in Aerospace/ Aeronautical Engineering with two years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering/ Computational Engineering/ Computational Science/Mechanics and Computing or allied disciplines, with two years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Candidates with prior Teaching and Research Experience are preferred  

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 67,000/- + HRA
  • Ph.D. (Fresher) Research Associate I Rs.58,000/- + HRA p.m.
  • Ph.D. + 1 year post Ph.D. Experience Research Associate II Rs.61,000/- + HRA p.m.
  • Ph.D. + 8 years post Ph.D. Experience Senior Instructor Rs.1,02,000/- + HRA p.m.
