Description

The National Institute of Technology Silchar is seeking a Field Worker for a project titled “Enhancing Himalayan Village Resilience: A Multi-Purpose Subsurface Water System for Power, Protection, and Livelihood.” This project is funded by the Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Guwahati and is under the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Silchar. The role involves field installation and organizing training programs with local tribal communities in the region.

Eligibility

Applicants must be graduates (B. Tech/BA) from either a technical or non-technical stream. Preference will be given to local residents of Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh, who can effectively engage with local tribal communities.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 10,000/- per month
