The Indian Maritime University is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Faculty in Nautical Science. This position is purely on a contract basis, initially for six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Directorate General (Shipping) recognized Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency. Additionally, a minimum of six months of sailing experience at the management level, as per the STCW Convention, is required. Desirable qualifications include sailing experience on gas tankers and teaching experience in Directorate General (Shipping) approved institutes. The age limit for applicants is 64 years.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- The consolidated salary is up to Rs. 1,20,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
