Description

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram, a premier institute established by the Government of India, is seeking applications for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This position is part of a project titled “Quantum-safe Encrypted Search over Outsourced Cloud Data with Multi-user Synchronization and Fine-grained Access Control,” funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The project aims to explore advanced encryption techniques to enhance data security in cloud computing environments.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates should preferably have an M.Tech./ME/MS/BS-MS/MSc. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, or related disciplines with a minimum CPI of 6.5/10 (or equivalent first class) and a valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/UGC NET (Category I/II/III) qualification. Candidates with a B.Tech./BE in Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum CPI of 6.5 and a valid GATE score are also eligible. GATE is exempted for candidates with a B.Tech. CPI of 8.0 or above from IITs/IISc/IISERs. Knowledge of C programming, data structures, algebra, and number theory will be preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month for the first two years
• Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month for the last year
