Description

The project titled “Development of cost-effective, bioactive titanium alloys for orthopaedic implants with low modulus, high strength, and trickeration resistance: Integrating alloy design with duplex nanoscale surface engineering” is funded by a notable agency and aims to innovate in the field of biomedical materials. The selected JRF will engage in experimental studies, alloy design, materials characterization, and more, contributing significantly to the project’s success.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B. E/BTech/M.E./MTech/M.Sc. (Engineering) in Metallurgy, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Ceramic, or M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science with a minimum of 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA. A valid GATE score is required for B.E./BTech candidates. Prior knowledge in alloy design, materials characterization, and electrochemistry is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Year 1 & 2: ₹37,000
• Year 3: ₹42,000
