Description

The National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Associate (PAT-I). This position is part of a project funded by HEFA Bengaluru, aimed at studying the drainage patterns in Srinagar Garhwal City and their impact on hill slope stability. The project is supervised by Dr. Vikas Pratap Singh from the Department of Civil Engineering.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the positions are as follows:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (Engr.) or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Rock Mechanics, Engineering Geology, or allied areas with a minimum of 1st class (or 60% marks/6.75 CGPA) at UG & PG levels, and GATE qualified in Civil Engineering. Age: Preferably below 35 years.
  • Project Associate (PAT-I): B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and allied areas with a minimum of 1st class (or 60% marks/6.75 CGPA). Desirable GATE paper: Civil Engineering. Age: Preferably below 35 years.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- per month + 9% HRA
  • Project Associate (PAT-I): Rs. 31,000/- per month + 9% HRA for GATE qualified candidates; Rs. 25,000/- per month + 9% HRA for non-GATE candidates
