The Punjab Cricket Association is the governing body for the development and organization of the game of cricket in the State of Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh. PCA has a long history because the state of Punjab had undergone political and geographical changes during the last 60 years most of the area of joint Punjab having gone to Pakistan. The PCA functions from present day Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh. Earlier the association used to operate mainly from the residence of the Office Bearers but after 1992 it has built a World Class cricket Stadium at Mohali having all the cricketing facilities of International level and the association has located its Headquarters in the Stadium. The cricketing activities of PCA are well spread in the total area of Punjab and Union Territory of chandigarh. PCA is instrumental in running the coaching and other activities in all major districts like Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Ludhiana, Mohali and Chandigarh(UT) and other districts like Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Bathinda, Faridkot, Ferozepur, Sangrur, Muktsar, Nawanshahar

The Punjab Cricket Association Inderjit Singh Bindra Stadium is a cricket ground located in Mohali, Punjab. It is popularly referred to as the Mohali Stadium. The stadium was built by Geetanshu Kalra from Ambala City and is home to the Punjab team

Eligibility

• Punjab Men’s Senior Team
  • Head Coach International Cricket Player Or State Player with at least 10 National First Class Matches Or State First Class Player with BCCI/NCA Level-III qualified. Experience at least 5 years with State/County Team/ IPL Franchisee Team/National Team. Age preferably less than 50 years
  • Physiotherapist Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University Or Graduate in Physiotherapy from a recognized University along with BCCI/NCA Level-1 Certificate. Experience at least 3 years with State/County Team/ IPL Franchisee Team/National Team. Age preferably less than 50 years
  • Trainer Master’s Degree in Physical Education from a recognized University Or Bachelor of Physical Education from a recognized University along with BCCI/NCA qualified. Experience at least 3 years with State/County Team/ IPL Franchisee Team/National Team. Age preferably less than 50 years
• Punjab Men’s Under-23/ Under-19/ Under-16
  • Head Coach Played 10 First Class Matches Or 25 Inter State of Under-23/Under-19 Cricket Matches Or Played at National Level along with BCCI/NCA Level-II Certificate. Experience at least 3 years with State/County Team/ IPL Franchisee Team/National Team. Age preferably less than 50 years
• Punjab Men’s Under-23/Under-19/Under-16 and Punjab Women’s Senior & Junior
  • Physiotherapist Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University Or BCCI/NCA qualified. Experience at least 3 years with State Teams. Age preferably less than 50 years
  • Trainer Bachelor of Physical Education from a recognized University Or BCCI/NCA qualified Age preferably less than 50 years Experience at least 3 years Or First-Class Player Age preferably less than 35 years Experience at least 3 years
• Punjab Women’s Senior and Junior
  • Head Coach Played Women International Match Or Played 10 Women National Cricket Matches Or BCCI/NCA qualified. Experience at least 3 years with State Teams. Age preferably less than 50 years

How to Apply

In addition to above, the following conditions will be applicable for all the positions

• Should have retired from all formats of the game of cricket at least 5 years before the Cricket Season 2021-22.
• A presentation on the vision of the Coach will be appreciated.
• Should be a keen adopter of Technology and Data Driven Analysis.
• Salary negotiable/ best in the class.
• Applicants are advised to go through the Guidelines/SOPs issued by the BCCI.
