The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This role is part of a time-bound research project, which is temporary and purely contractual. The project aims to elucidate the therapeutic potential of three Indian weeds against ESKAPE pathogens, focusing on their modes of action.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.S. 4-year programme, BPharm, MBBS, Integrated BS-MS, MSc, BE, BTech, or an equivalent degree with at least 55% marks. Additionally, candidates should have passed the NET/GATE test as per CSIR guidelines. The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 per month
