Description

The JRF position at NIT Warangal offers a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge research project sponsored by ANRF-IRG. The project aims to explore the conversion of CO2 into methane, a process with significant implications for sustainable energy solutions. The selected candidate will engage in developing engineered perovskite catalysts and conducting catalytic studies, contributing to the advancement of green technology.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc./M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemistry, Energy Engineering, or other relevant specializations with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL categories, and 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD categories. Alternatively, a B.E. or B.Tech degree in relevant fields with at least 65% aggregate marks or 7.0 CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL categories, and 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD categories is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a GATE qualification.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • ₹31,000 per month for the first two years
  • ₹42,000 per month for the third year
