The Department of Applied Mechanics at MNNIT is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to a significant research project. The project, titled “Development of an Orthotic Auxetic Insole for Preventing the Recurrence of Ulcers in Leprosy Patients,” is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. R. Sujithra, the Principal Investigator, and will have the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research with potential implications in biomedical engineering.

Eligibility
Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Mechanical, Computational Mechanics, Design, Aerospace, Biomedical, Civil or other relevant specializations) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 per month (Consolidated) + HRA @20% for the first two years
- Rs. 42,000 per month (Consolidated) + HRA @20% for the third year
