The Jayaprakash Narayan National Centre of Excellence in the Humanities (JPNCOEH) at IIT Indore invites applications for the position of Research Associate. This role is integral to supporting the centre’s research initiatives, including fieldwork, events, and academic activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project In-Charge and contribute to various ongoing projects.

Eligibility

• The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project In-Charge in undertaking research work, fieldwork, literature review, tabulation, and coordination for the Centre’s events and academic activities.

• Candidates should be familiar with computational skills, text analysis, machine learning, and sentiment analysis.

• Preference will be given to candidates with an interest in and understanding of Environmental Humanities/Economics, as well as their primary interests.   

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 40,000/- per month (consolidated)
