National Institute of Technology Warangal Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment

The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW) is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a prestigious project titled “Advanced Transport Modelling and Simulation for National Highways in India.” This project is a collaborative effort involving the Indian Academy of Highway Engineers (IAHE), IIT Roorkee, and the University of New South Wales, Australia, sponsored by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India. Description

The research project aims to develop an Indian-specific macro model, known as the Computable General Equilibrium Model, for the entire National Highway Network. Additionally, it seeks to build an Indian-specific urban pervasive data model for Indian cities. This project is a joint initiative between NIT Warangal, IAHE, IIT Roorkee, and the University of New South Wales, Australia, with sponsorship from MoRTH, Government of India.

Eligibility

B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering with First class/Division

M.E/ M.Tech in Transportation Engineering or M.Planning with First Class/Division  Desirable GATE Qualified 

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs 37,000/- per month for the first two years
• Rs 42,000/- per month during the third year based on performance
