Description

The project aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of heavy quark dynamics across various stages of hot QCD matter, with a particular focus on the pre-equilibrium phase. The selected candidate will work closely with Dr. Santosh Kumar Das at IIT Goa and collaborate with Dr. Vinod Chandra at IIT Gandhinagar. This research is pivotal in advancing our understanding of the fundamental aspects of high-energy physics.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy Physics, with specialization in areas related to hot QCD matter. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. Expertise in heavy quark dynamics in hot QCD matter, including the pre-equilibrium phase, is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• ₹58,000 Per Month. If the thesis is submitted but the degree is awaited, the candidates will be paid ₹42,000 Per Month   
• Salary and HRA will be provided as per the norms of the funding agency.
• Leave and medical benefits will be as per the institute’s norms.
