Description

The Centre for Medical Electronics at College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, is recruiting for a Junior Research Fellow-I position in a time-bound project funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The project, titled “Design and Development of physiologically driven functional knee orthotic device for rehabilitation,” is supported by CSIR’s Human Resources Department Group (HRDG), Extramural Research Division (EMR-II), under project reference 22WS (0026)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPIRE dated 18.06.2024. This research initiative focuses on developing advanced rehabilitation technology that combines physiological signal analysis with exoskeleton design and development, offering candidates an opportunity to work at the forefront of medical electronics and biomedical engineering.

Eligibility

Essential Qualifications:

  • BE/B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering/Medical Electronics/ECE/E&I, OR
  • M.E/M.Tech in Medical Electronics/Biomedical Engineering

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with bio signals and movement analysis

Age Criteria:

  • Age Limit: 28 years
  • Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Junior Research Fellowship as per CSIR norms
